Many schools had a successful 2024 season. I see certain teams making another deep playoff push this year once again. Looking at the stats and strengths of schedules I believe these teams will once again enter the 2025 playoffs.
1- Defending champions Cherry Creek after going 13-1 in total last year they are looking strong once again to make another push for that state title.
2- Legend had a turn of events in their season after losing to columbine in week 3 in overtime. They went on and had a 10 game win streak and punched their ticket into the 2024 state title game but ended up falling just 3 points short against cherry creek .
3- Valor looks to bounce back again after going 11-2 and winning six straight then falling to cherry creek in the semi finals. Valor will face many playoff contenders but look to get to the playoffs once again.
4- Ralston Valley After having all the critics voice out Ralston valley last year they went on to Finish 10-2 and were 5A Metro league champion's. Ralston valley will meet familiar faces heading into the 2025 season. Looking to enter the playoffs for the 4th year under head coach Jared Yannacito.
5- Mountain Vista went 11-1 going undefeated in the regular season breaking offensive records scoring 35+ a game having all the momentum heading into the playoffs but then a blockbuster upset took place as the 7th seed Fairview won 49-45. Mountain vista looks to bounce back this season.
6- Columbine had an outstanding start going 7-0 then then meeting up with Ralston valley where it was back and fourth both offenses had answers. But ended up falling 34-35. But columbine looks ready to chase after another state title.
